Seeking senior technical writers to work with product management and QA to create online web-based product documentation. Documentation will integrate with Omnitaas solutions to enhance usage and self-driven training for end-users. This includes both user-facing guides and tutorials, including integration with chatbot’s to optimize learning and reduce technical support calls.

Candidates must have a strong understanding of the products they are documenting to explain complex concepts in simple non-technical language. Furthermore, candidates will conduct user testing, to ensure that documentation is suitable for the end-user and to produce high-quality documentation that meets the needs of its intended audience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare instruction web-based end-user manuals
• Disseminate technical information in easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience
• Have excellent grasp of the English language and ability to accurately communicate complex ideas in a concise manner
• Create software documentation after a thorough collaboration with subject matter experts and technical staff
• Ability to take existing and potential content and improve it
• Create web-based product manuals with screenshots and tutorials

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.
• 6+ years of proven experience in writing technical documentation
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Ability to undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Solid grip on documentation publishing software such as Adobe Robohelp, Zendesk Guide, Camtasia, SnagIt, and other software
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, document search engines and chatbot integration
• Detail-oriented
