Responsibilities
The role involves preparing instruction-based web manuals and disseminating technical information in easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience.
Key duties include:
- Creating software documentation through collaboration with subject matter experts
- Developing web-based product manuals with screenshots and tutorials
- Improving existing and potential content
- Conducting user testing to ensure suitability for end-users
- Integrating documentation with chatbots to optimize learning
Requirements & Qualifications
- Graduate or MBA (any discipline; a background in Information Systems, IT, or Computer Science is a plus)
- 1-2 years of technical documentation writing experience; freshers with strong writing samples are also welcome to apply
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
- Comfortable learning documentation tools such as Adobe Robohelp, Camtasia, SnagIt, and Trails
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, document search engines and chatbot integration
- Detail-oriented mindset
Skills Needed
- Clear, simple technical writing and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Strong English language grasp with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply
